The Periodic Table of Islam [Infographic]

Recently at work, creating information graphics (infographics) has been a fun way to do some marketing for our clients. Infographics are visual representations of information, data or knowledge and are a fun way to disseminate information. During some research I was doing I found a series of infographics done based off the famous periodic table of chemical elements. Therefore I decided to give this theme a try and make the Periodic Table of Islam.

If you like it, please feel free to share it around and publish it on your blogs as well. I have provided the embed code underneath the image. You can also download a higher resolution version as well. If any teachers want to use this infographic for their students, but wish to change some of the text, please leave a comment below and I will get in contact with you. I have the PSD file saved and it can easily be edited.

PS – Some science students have asked me about the ordering and positioning of the elements on the table. There is no specific order to the elements in the chart and neither do the horizontal or vertical rows imply anything like they would in the periodic table of the chemical elements.

  1. I really really like this. It’s absolutely wonderful mashallah. Keep up the awesome work!!!!

  2. MASHAALLAH…Very Creative…..far better than examining and analysing  the hit rate of web sites…

  3. salam’alaik…
can i have the copy of the PSD to…
    izzah.usm [at] gmail [dot] com
wanna use it to make pocket calender and give it to friends…
    syukran jazillan..

  4. This is syiah periodic table… I warn everyone, do not take anything from syiah because it will harm your self and syiah is not from Muslims.

  5. Good idea but the execution can be improved. The columns should have similar properties like the real periodic table. Also, none of the elements have three letters.

  6. Shia are muslims.. those who believe that ALlah is one And Holy Prophet Muhammad SAAWW was the last prophet of Allah are Muslims 🙂

  7. Actually elements such as Ununpentium (Uup) and Ununseptium (Uus) do hsve 3 letters in their shortenings. 🙂

  8. the periodic table of islam? hah?
    this periodic table of shia.
dont include islam in ur religion, shia not islam, and islam not shia

  9. Assalamualaikum author,

I love the infographic alot! But with all due respect, can someone please help, revise my design and replace a few of the shia elements in original periodic table? I had to redesign it according to Sunni version of Islam. Any help would be very much appreciated! Here’s my version so far, it’s half way done!

    Thanks!

  10. Kindly do not say this “periodic table of islam”. Use the words appropriately as you have used elements in your table according to your appropriateness. This is “periodic table of shia sect”. I am not saying shia are not muslims, let such blames be clarified by ALLAH on the day of ressurection. But please do not generalize your specialized practices as “islamic”. There are other islamic sects as well who clearly do not consider a number of the elements of this table as part of their religious practice.

  11. Could you please send me the original? I am an RE teacher so can use this to help students understand Shia Islam.
    Many thanks

  12. Assalam-o-Alaikum Brother,

I think it should be translated in Urdu and other languages as well. Please send me the High Quality PSD files and I will translate it in Urdu. May Ahlalbayt give you more Taufeeq to do greater things.
It is really an unique idea.
